Vietnam

Today let me share photos taken in Vietnam, a country I truly love to return to. I’ve been to Vietnam eight times already and would love to come again, since newer photos always sound more interesting. Maybe one day this set will sound boring to me too, but not now. Here is the set mostly from my last visit in November–December 2011. I did’t have any concept in my mind. These are just shots to show the beauty of this interesting country.

  1. Very nice, especially number 16. If you don’t mind, I’d like to post some of your pictures to Pinterest with links back to your blog so that you get credit and traffic. Very nice work!

  2. My generation was deeply involved in the Viet Nam war. It is interesting to see the changes and also the sameness of Viet Nam from all the nightly news during the 1960s. Nice work!

  3. Hi beautiful picts, all of these were taken with the x100? if so, you really bring the best out of the camera. Wonderful captures. I am debating in were to go next year for a photo trip vacation, and its between Vietnam and India. Your work make me want to go to Vietnam, any comments worth mentioning about your trip? I like the black and white ones, but the the color pictures really jumped out of the screen, great.

    • This photos was taken by different cameras, not only x100. Basically Canon 5D Mark II & Canon 1Ds Mark III. You can see EXIF for each file. But it’s not very important. The main cause of colors is light and post-processing.

      • Thanks Pavel, yep of course camera is not the only thing but is part of the packet.. :)

Great pictures…. thanks for sharing them. Will definitely keep a look on your posts.
